I’ve always loved old vintage treasures and love the character and patina that come with them.
I find them a lot like life beautiful and not always perfect, sometimes sparkling and sometimes we have small imperfections that show we have enjoyed life and or hardship that has made us grow, hopefully wiser more sympathetic and gracious and kind. As we age just like these beautiful frames we develop character and are full of good memories and love.
I really enjoyed collecting and restoring these frames, they are not perfect but I believe that is what makes them so special and beautiful.
I have tried to give these frames a second chance at being loved and filled them with some oil paintings.
They are all filled with original artwork of collected Vistas I love.
Some are the original oil paintings and others I had Giclée fine art prints on canvas of some of my favorite paintings done and then I have spent time painting and enhancing them, to make them each unique and special. The vintage frames with glass I have selected more favorites and had them Giclée printed  on an archive beautiful rag paper.
With this series I have decided to also have a few Giclée prints on a thick archive rag paper available for those of you who might not want to invest in an original oil painting at this time.
